We are a small, friendly campsite situated
beside a picturesque burn and woodland. Facilities include:
- Hot water
- 1 x Ladies & 1 x Gents shower - Free
During peak season (July and August) queuing is unfortunately
- Dishwashing sink
- We have spaces for tents, touring
caravans and camper vans, including hard standing.
- Car parking (No vehicles allowed on
- Electric hook-ups (5) are also
available but space is limited and booking is essential. A
minimum £12 deposit is requested to secure a hook-up pitch
- Dogs welcome - must be on leads at all
times in the campsite
As we are a fairly small
campsite and do not have marked out pitches it can be difficult to
reserve areas and tent pitches are, therefore, on a first come, first
served basis. Reservations are only taken for stays of 4 nights or more
( deposit of £25, non-refundable). July and August are very busy
months and, if possible, it is advisable to arrive by lunchtime/early
afternoon in order to secure a pitch. 7.45pm is the latest arrival
time except by prior arrangement.
Tobermory Campsite is the closest campsite to 'Balamory' - very
important for our younger campers! (Balamory is the children's TV
programme filmed in and around Tobermory).
We also have 2 'Midge Magnet' machines in operation. We are not
guaranteeing midge-free camping (bring your repellent!) but they do
catch a huge number of midges.
Mobile phone reception is patchy at the campsite. However, there
is a good signal in Tobermory and Vodaphone probably has the best
coverage on the island.
We are members of the Mull Eco Charter and
strongly encourage recycling, please could all campers help us to
do this by sorting their rubbish into plastic, glass, tin and paper and
placing in the bins provided. Thank you.
