We are a small, friendly campsite situated
beside a picturesque burn and woodland. Facilities include:
As we are a fairly small
campsite and do not have marked out pitches it can be difficult to
reserve areas and tent pitches are, therefore, on a first come, first
served basis. Reservations are only taken for stays of 4 nights or more
( deposit of £25, non-refundable). July and August are very busy
months and, if possible, it is advisable to arrive by lunchtime/early
afternoon in order to secure a pitch. 7.45pm is the latest arrival
time except by prior arrangement.
Tobermory Campsite is the closest campsite to 'Balamory' - very
important for our younger campers! (Balamory is the children's TV
programme filmed in and around Tobermory).
Mobile phone reception is patchy at the campsite. However, there
is a good signal in Tobermory and Vodaphone probably has the best
coverage on the island.
An Ice-cream van calls in summer selling
bread, milk, confectionery etc and of course, ice creams
Please be aware that the Campsite is served
by a private spring and you will need to bring bottled water for
drinking. This can be purchased at the Co-op supermarket in Tobermory
and there is also a standpipe and sink on the campsite which has
filtered, UV treated water available at no charge.
We are members of the Mull Eco Charter and
strongly encourage recycling, please could all campers help us to
do this by sorting their rubbish into plastic, glass, tin and paper and
placing in the bins provided. Thank you.
